Our original clubhouse built in 1896 was a rustic pavilion. In 1910 as more members joined a new Victorian clubhouse was built on Ravenoak Road which included a telephone and thirteen years later the current Clubhouse was built on Manor Road.
Since then, major investment has been made within the clubhouse and we are delighted to have recently transformed our clubhouse and balcony and have three stunning and contemporary rooms to suit all occasions.
Our main Clubhouse Lounge The Nevill Lounge is named in honour of Charles Henry Nevill who owned Bramall Hall and was an influencer and played a key role in helping and supporting the club. His early association with the Club is still acknowledged today by one of our most prestigious board competitions, The Nevill Challenge Cup. Charles was President of the club in 1894.
The Nevill Lounge is a great space for parties and celebrations for up to 130 people and leads onto the club’s impressive mezzanine terrace balcony, which has stunning views over the golf course.
The Chadwick suite is named in honour of Elizabeth Chadwick who was a member of our club and had phenomenal success as a golfer representing England in the Curtis Cup in 1966 as well as many other achievements.
The Chadwick Suite is perfect for intimate dining events and can cater for up to 24 people. This room is ideal for local societies and social clubs for frequent meetings and has a large flat screen TV with a laptop connection for presentations.
Our Fairway suite, located on the ground floor of the clubhouse, is our premier function space which can cater for up to 100 people, with it’s own bar and great views over the course.
